Brother Eli teaching from the book of Romans chapter 7 vs 19, which talks about the journey of Apostle Paul, which is given deeply, and taught by anyone struggling against him.
In the scripture Paul confessions, for the good that I would, I do not, but evil which I would not, that I do. This reflects our battle as believers. Always wanting to do the right thing, but at the end falling up doing the wrong thing.
Sometimes it is very humbling to hear that even those in the scriptures stop apostles or ministers. we also feel essentially like Paul faced it. Yet, this also gives us, offers hope to us as believers. But the early also told us that Paul encountered Christ while he was on his way to Damascus.
This scripture was taken from Acts 22:16. It gives a turning point for Paul on an hour or so. So we have been called to arise as believers and baptize ourselves. And what shall we do? Our sins.
This represents the power of the forgiveness of God. Titus 3, 5. This also reveals that it is not by our strength or by our minds, but it is of God that we show mercy. So through baptism, when we renew our mind to the Holy Spirit, then we are being transformed as believers.
We are being reminded that these two changes will only come when we surrender fully to God through baptism and repentance. When we surrender to God's grace, we are allowing the Spirit to transform and regenerate in us. So as believers, we must seek the mercy of God always so that we can be renewed in his kingdom.
