The book of Exodus reminded us of a story that's about how God's supremacy oversees everyone and it has been proven from thousands of years ago in Egypt.
The Israelites were meant to be enslaved for almost 5,430 years but God proved his power by dismantling the Egyptian Gods known as the Ammon, the Arad, the Osiris and others. So through different kinds of miracles he was able to prove himself by turning the river Nile to blood and defying the belief of the so-called God of Nile to also the death of firstborns around Egypt.
God exposed all the deities in Egypt. He also displayed his power at the red sea by parting it, the waters, that the Israelites can be saved. And also that same red seawas known to Drown Pharaoh to pursue the army.
So in Psalm 106:10, he declares that he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, the waters covered all their enemies. So this accounts to the Jews' history. This is a test that God's sovereignty is very important. For the early Israelites, 3500 years ago there was a proof that God proved his power and the world.
Today we are being challenged to trust in him alone, rejecting all the false beliefs and other gods, because he has given himself time to that number, that he is the one and only true God. And let us keep reflecting that if God can triumph, then his power remains unchangeable to everyone.
