Hello, breathers @mcgi community! I hope we all had a wonderful and beautiful weekend. Is reincarnation biblical? According to Hinduism and other religions, they believe that reincarnation is real for them.
Reincarnation is supposed to allow people to die many times and be reborn until they are perfect and meet their source.
If this theory is true, the world would be a peaceful place because most of those who would have been reborn would have learned one or two lessons from their previous lives and would know that good is far better than evil. The idea of reincarnation is one of perfection, but the opposite is the case. As Christians, we believe what the Bible says according to Hebrews 9:27.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
The Bible also says that in the last days, men will be lovers of themselves, which is what is happening today.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
What is happening in our world today is the fulfillment of what is written in the Bible; crimes and evils are increasing on a daily basis.
This also points to the fact that reincarnation is not true because if it were true, our world would be better, we should have more kind-hearted individuals, and they should be able to learn from their mistakes from their previous lifestyles and be better than they were then.
The Bible is our manual, and reincarnation is not true. It is also not biblical; every word the Bible says comes to pass and is even happening now. Therefore, we should follow what the Bible says.
