I’m tutoring my 2 great nieces. After our tutor session at my house, we went on a nature hike/walk in my neighborhood! They love walking my dog and discovering new things.
Here is some milkweed with flowers growing in one of my neighbor's yards. It is a host plant for monarch and queen butterflies. I'm not sure if a butterfly will happen along and lay eggs on it and it is a funny place to see only 1 milkweed plant. It's in a part of the yard called the parkway - which is the area closest to the street. It does have very pretty flowers!
