Sometimes the best part of our day isn't the main reason we stepped out, it's the suprise that we meet along the way.

Yesterday, I went out to do some documentation at the town secretariat, but I left with more than papers. I left with a moment captured and saved in my phone, something that reminds of how important symbols are held by people and how they beautify a place.
Right there, in front of the administrative building is a sculpture elephant, it was a bold life sized elephant.
You know the elephant carries a lot of charisma, this image completely stole the moment for me.
I was curious to know what it represents and so I asked some questions and did some research. And I was told that as their population grew( the ngwa people) some of them started looking for a new settlement and an elephant emarge as a divine guide, that lead the people to this area known as Aba. So the elephant cleaned the path for them and vanished. So the city is called ENYIMBA city "elephant".
People carry out different types of administrative workers here.
So seeing this sculpture at the heart of a government facility is a strong reminder of what the Aba people stand for, strength, resilience, and quite pride.
And truly the city is great, filled with talented and hardworking people.
Did you notice the elephant too?
Or maybe there’s a random spot in your city that has something symbolic like this.
Share with me in the comments I’d love to hear about it!
