Have you ever stayed without a phone for four days?
Like no calls , no messages, no internet just you and day light, Not because you planned to, but because the situation forced you to?
That was my situation one two one month ago, I was completely confused and unhappy because my phone suddenly went blank.It wouldn’t power on, and I had no way to reach anyone.
For four days, I was completely unreachable, the worst was that I had been booked for an event a week before this happened.
I got a new phone.
Now imagine how frustrating this was for me.
Sadly, I missed the job. My client ended up hiring another makeup artist and a photographer. I was pained, truly shattered.
Before this happened, I had already planned to get a new phone, but not that urgent, it was just a plan. And business hadn't been going so well, I just had little money I was supposed to use to restock my makeup kits.But Hive came through for me and made it possible to finally get a brand new phone.
Funny enough, just a week before all this, I had written about wanting to buy the latest Redmi 14C. I didn’t expect to be force into action so soon.
Now, my next big goal is a washing machine.
Washing clothes is one chore I seriously don’t enjoy. It literally makes me sick sometimes. Back when it was just me, I could manage. I tried to stay clean enough so I wouldn’t have to scrub and scrub. But now? I’m a boy mom. I scrub and scrub and scrub until the clothes are practically begging, “I’m clean, please stop!”
So yes, I’ve started saving. I’ve already made some enquiries about different washing machines and asked my friends which brands are durable. I’m hopeful that soon, I’ll tick this one off my list too.
