Just finished watching Owambe Thieves and honestly, I’m boiling inside.

Source So here’s the gist:

A Yoruba woman married an Igbo man who was struggling financially. She was supportive, even when her mother disapproved. At some point, she even helped him out with money, like they both ended up stealing from her mum to survive. That's was the wife's plan and it was a success.

Fast forward to when things finally started looking bright and the man became financially stable, guess what? He started cheating. 😒 Yes he cheated on his wife, the wife was tempted to cheat on her husband with his rich friend but she chose not to.

Pictures from my phone while watching.

And this got me thinking… Why is it that some men suddenly become unfaithful the moment money enters the picture? Is it that poverty humbles them or that wealth exposes who they really are? *This is also applicable to women"

For me, cheating is a choice, and definitely a deal breaker. Nothing stings more than betraying a loyal spouse.

Overall, the movie was worth the watch I’d rate it a 5/10.

What do you think? Does money really change people in relationships, or does it only reveal their true character?
