My Little PA This Holiday

School is out, and my son is officially on break for about two weeks now. Instead of enrolling him in summer lessons, I decided to keep him close to me and honestly, it has been one of the best decisions.

We where set to make our urgent 2 million.

Some people recommended that I put him in holiday school so he can stay busy and I can rest. but I don’t really fancy it. I believe holidays should be a time to rest, refresh, and create memories. Childhood is short, and breaks should feel like breaks, not more classroom time.

So this holiday, he has taken up a new role: my personal assistant. 😅

The joy he gets when we retiring home.

Every morning, we start our day together. Sometimes he helps me with little things, like splashing water on the floor, other times he Just seat and watch carton. that make me smile. It’s not always smooth — there are distractions and funny interruptions ( I shout, I think I should get a microphone) but it’s beautiful because we’re bonding.

This moment of laughter, conversation, togetherness are investment too. I am investing my love and connection to him so he would know how to do better.

One day, he’ll grow up and have his own world. But for now, let's both enjoy the moment.

Do you think children should spend their holidays in summer lessons, or do you prefer they take the time to rest and bond with family? 1000039698.jpg
