Today I am here to show you some images of the streets of Cabudare in Venezuela, where I live. Today, Wednesday, I had to walk around looking for a hardware store to buy a chain, as I needed to lock a gate with a padlock and I didn't have a chain. I started my walk on Patiño Avenue and then continued along some of the cross streets, enjoying the urban landscape. Above all, I stopped every time I saw a neighborhood whose design and colors caught my attention. Cabudare is a small city located southeast of Barquisimeto, but it is very urbanized. It has many important developments located in all four cardinal directions, and most of the people who live here work in Barquisimeto. For this reason, it is known as a commuter town. One building that caught my attention was a very large, three-story yellow house designed in colonial style, with white windows with protective bars and hallways protected by concrete railings. Just like those seen in the colonial zone of some villages in the state of Lara. I finally found the Maestre hardware store, where I bought the chain. Hoy paso por aquí para mostrarles imágenes de algunas calles de la ciudad de Cabudare en Venezuela, lugar donde resido, que hoy miércoles tuve que recorrer mientras buscaba una ferretería para comprar una cadena, pues necesitaba cerrar un portón con un candado y me faltaba la cadena. Comencé el recorrido en la avenida Patiño y luego seguí por algunas de las calles transversales y fui disfrutando del paisaje urbano, sobre todo, me detenía cada vez que veía una urbanización cuyo diseño y colorido me llamaban la atención. Cabudare es una pequeña ciudad ubicada al sur-este de Barquisimeto pero está muy urbanizada. Posee muchas urbanizaciones importantes ubicadas en los cuatro puntos cardinales y la mayoría de las personas que aquí habitamos, labora en Barquisimeto. Por esa razón se le conoce como la ciudad dormitorio. Una construcción que me llamó la atención fue una casa muy grande de color amarillo de tres niveles diseñada al estilo colonial, con sus ventanas blancas con protectores enrejados y sus pasillos protegidos por barandas de concreto. Tal como se ven en la zona colonial de algunos caseríos del estado Lara. Finalmente pude conseguir la ferretería Maestre, donde compré la cadena. Justo a tiempo porque de repente el cielo se pintó de negro y comenzó a llover terminando con mi recorrido.
