Greetings everyone, allow me to share some of hardest situations I have here at the Province, I already lived together with my Family here at one of the Sitio in the Municipality of Manticao and in order to reach our place it needs to cross the river and climb a hill before reaching our place. This afternoon, at exactly 3 oclock, A heavy rain strikes here in our place. Almost Zero Visibility because of heavy rain precipetate but as for me, it is important so that our plant will not dry and due to intense weather happened here last day. I was at my Grandma's place when the rain started to precipetate and it takes 2 hours. After that, Someone told us that the river was started to flood and I hurriedly went home.
I felt worried about the situation, it needs to wait for a few hours before I can cross the river. While keep waiting for the water to get lower, I monitored the river to see if the water keeps increasing very fast. I was very shocked when I saw the river filled with mud and branches flashed away by strong water current. The water was keep Increasing and the cliff was reached by water. Many people went near at the river to see the flood and the also monitored the flood.
The trees near at the river are already reached by the water and I felt worried of might the cliff will colapsed or eroded and the trees will flashed away by flood. Everytime when there are branches floating at the water, the branches of those trees growd at the cliff also swings and the splashing of water getting louder and noisy. It was still very cloudy day and expected to rain again and I hope it wont so that the water wont over flow in our place.
I kept walking along in this muddy road going to the steel bridge located at Sitio Makawa. It was really hard for me to in this muddy place and it needs to be more careful so I wont get slipped by the mud. This road is where we always passing by everytime when there is a flood so we can reach the bridge. It was very quite and only a splashed of water can be heard.
The next place I've passing by was this abandoned house and it looks like it is burned because of the charcoal of the structures. It is creepy to pass by here specially during evening that is why I kept walked very fast. This structure was already abandoned many years already and the place is nearly covered with bamboo plants.
This Coconut drier structure was also very quite, the workers decided to went home because of the heavy rain. The place is also contains lots of mud this structure is near at the cliff and if the water overflows, it will reached this place anytime.
It really takes few hours of walking in order for me to reached the bridge at Sitio Makawa and at the middle of my Walking adventure, I also pass this plain coconut field. The place is covered with wild grass and it is perfect to raised farm animals. Its been a long time since I went back again here at this place and I only passing by here everytime when there is a flood.
The place is also filled with lots of young tree plants and all of it are secured with tree guards made of round lumbers and bamboo pieces. Finally, after a few hours of walking I nearly arrived at the bridge when suddenly my Mother called me and asked me about my locations. This kind of situation is very hard for me but Everything is alright because I lived at the place near at the river. The best thing I will do is to enjoyed my Life and faced the challenges and problems specially durinf flood season. Thank you for stopping by, have a nice day to all of us.
