Hello Skate #Hive friends!... It's been a while since I've been around here. Lots of work, commitments, and tasks to complete, and finding time to skate, whether to film or photograph, has been a bit difficult. The hustle and bustle of everyday life swallows us up without asking permission, and before I know it, another week has gone by, another month, another bunch of moments I wish I had experienced on four wheels. But skateboarding, for me, never stops being present. Even when I can't go down a hill or capture a ride, it's still there, in my memory, on my skin, in the way I see the street. Because skateboarding isn't just a sport, it's a language, it's a way of seeing. It shows me how the city can be a backdrop, how the asphalt can become poetry, how every obstacle can transform into possibility.
> Olá amigos Skate #Hive!... Faz um tempo que eu não apareço por aqui. Muito trabalho, compromissos e tarefas sendo concluídas, e conciliar um tempo para andar de skate, seja para filmar ou fotografar, tem sido um pouco difícil. A correria do dia a dia engole a gente sem pedir licença, e quando vejo já se foi mais uma semana, mais um mês, mais um monte de momentos que eu queria ter vivido sobre quatro rodas. Mas o skate, pra mim, nunca deixa de estar presente. Mesmo quando não consigo descer uma ladeira ou registrar um rolê, ele continua ali, na memória, na pele, na forma como enxergo a rua. Porque o skate não é só esporte, é linguagem, é olhar. É ele que me mostra como a cidade pode ser cenário, como o asfalto pode virar poesia, como cada obstáculo pode se transformar em possibilidade.

Photography enters this scene as an extension of all this. It's almost the same feeling as landing a trick: you dive in without knowing exactly how it will end, but you feel that there's something there worth experiencing. Shooting is freezing in time a bit of this urban chaos we breathe, it's giving meaning to the concrete that, to those who don't look closely, just seems more gray. And regardless of the rush of time, the routine that tries to suffocate us, I want to be more present here. I want to come back more often, to share these experiences that arise from skateboarding, photography, friendship, and the streets. Because it's not just about tricks or clicks, it's about community, about exchange, about feeling that every ride, every photo, and every encounter carries a piece of who we are.
> A fotografia entra nesse rolê como extensão disso tudo. É quase a mesma sensação de acertar uma manobra: você se joga sem saber exatamente como vai terminar, mas sente que ali existe algo que vale ser vivido. Clicar é travar no tempo um pouco desse caos urbano que a gente respira, é dar sentido ao concreto que, pra quem não olha direito, parece só mais cinza. E independente do tempo corrido, da rotina que tenta sufocar a gente, eu quero estar mais presente por aqui. Quero voltar mais vezes, compartilhar essas vivências que nascem do skate, da fotografia, da amizade e da rua. Porque não é só sobre manobras ou cliques, é sobre comunidade, sobre troca, sobre sentir que cada rolê, cada foto e cada encontro carregam um pedaço de quem a gente é.
And as always, with the artistic eye I carry within me, I decided to transform this moment even further: I took one of the photos we took during this skate trip and created a new artwork based on it. Because the street isn't just a backdrop, it's a raw material. The click becomes a canvas, the movement becomes inspiration, and the entire city ends up becoming part of the creative process. That's what drives me: transforming experience into art and giving back to the street what it gives me every day.
E como sempre, com o olhar artístico que carrego comigo, resolvi transformar ainda mais esse momento: peguei uma das fotos que fizemos nesse rolê de skate e criei uma nova arte por cima dela. Porque a rua não é só cenário, ela é matéria-prima. O clique vira tela, o movimento vira inspiração, e a cidade inteira acaba se tornando parte do processo criativo. É isso que me move: transformar vivência em arte e devolver pra rua aquilo que ela me entrega todos os dias.
In the end, it all comes down to being present, feeling the city pulse beneath your feet and through the camera lens. Every stroll, every click, every piece of street art is a way of making a statement, of connecting with what surrounds us and with those who share these moments.
No fim, tudo isso se resume a estar presente, a sentir a cidade pulsar sob os pés e nas lentes da câmera. Cada rolê, cada clique, cada arte criada a partir da rua é uma forma de marcar presença, de se conectar com o que nos cerca e com quem compartilha esses momentos.
