A Beautiful Day Outside: Nearing the End of our Garden

We are so grateful for beautiful weather and the opportunity to get things taken care of outside.

Our volunteer pumpkin is turning orange, little by little. Probably time to pick in a while.

Pulled some of our tomatoes, while others we're allowing to ripen what's left on the vine.

Our banana peppers are growing large. We like to pickle them for our sandwiches and pizza.

Our sweet potato vines are flourishing and our compost is growing nicely.

All of our kitchen scraps and weeds go in the compost. We don't let anything go to waste, even the things we used to throw away. Now it's left to become very good composted soil.
