Always Check Your Change: Silver at $39

I've been carefully checking my change, mostly looking for the elusive 2025 pennies (perhaps last year of production?), but finding something even better: silver!

While theyy look like old dirty dimes, they are remarkable because of their content. Harkening back to a more stable time, when we exchanged our goods and services for silver.

These three silver dimes could have bought me a "100% Pure Beef Hamburger" and "Crisp Golden French Fries". Today a hamburger and fries from McDonalds if over $4.00, but I suspect the quality today is no where near as good as it was in the '50's and '60's.

With silver currently at $39, all three dimes together are worth about $8.50 melt. That's an amazing find in your change! RARE!!!

If silver ever does what some people predict it's going to do, the nostalgia of buying burgers with silver is going to be absurd. People back then would be spending today's equivalent of hundreds of dollars for their burger and fries.... the scary thing is that someday WE might be spending hundreds of dollars for OUR burgers and fries!

Can we have our cake and eat it too? Can silver be highly valued, without the dollar devalued? Only time will tell.
