Grateful for my Little Daughter

Our of all of my seven children, my (2nd) youngest daughter is the one who is quickest to spend time with daddy. We've been doing a reading lesson each day and I'm watching her reading skills advance little by little.

She requested some pictures with daddy after dinner and thought it was great. She giggled when she saw the photos.

Her favorite line is "can I come too?" whenever she hears my keys make noise. Or "can I have some?" if she sees me enjoying a drink. Or another favorite "can you read Read-and-Share Bible to me?" before bed every night. It's become a routine.

I'm hoping that even as my routine and daily habits change, many of these will not change as I cannot allow time away from home get in the way of life at home and the relationship with my children.
