Grateful for Our Daily (and Weekly) Bread

Today is the day we clean up the house. After breakfast, we have a 15 minute cleanup, but on Friday it's a 30 minute cleanup.

It's a routine that has helped keep our home clean and tidy, just a set-aside time to get everything cleaned up everyday, before starting school-work.

My daughter braided the bread today and it turned out beautifully! Mom was explaining how the bread rises by itself and why we put "eggwash" over the top of it - although we're saving the egg for now so no eggwash for now.

Once it's baked, we have a delicious bread to welcome in the Holy evening of rest.
