Today we visited Forgotten Harvest and this time I gathered my three oldest to come with me! They did great. The evening before they made chia seed pudding, but it didn't thicken enough so we put it in the blender with fruit and dairy and made chia smoothies!

The girls had been making thank you cards all week and they were finishing them up this morning in the car while we waited. We also visited a local coffee shop to drink our smoothies.

The children were so excited to hand out the cards to the workers. The cards were a big hit, the workers were delighted to get a card. They made almost a dozen of them and spent a lot of time and creative energy making them.

The artistic skills are developing nicely, it's an original piece of artwork, as a gift to the hard workers at Forgotten Harvest who volunteer their time.

I like the calligraphy and all the "spring" themed letters.
