Volume Four
The Steemit Greeters Guild welcomes, encourages and trains new users to help them successfully navigate through the unfamiliar and sometimes rough waters of the Steemit platform. One way that we achieve this goal is by highlighting promising newcomers through this publication on a daily basis. We’d greatly appreciate it if you would help us welcome all of the newbies below by upvoting, resteeming and/or commenting on their posts!

Our first newbie, Ernesto Duran, identifies himself as "a creative". Although he is a graphic designer by trade, he frequently expresses his creativity through many other avenues as well. Photography pairs perfectly with his trade and he also thoroughly enjoys illustration and dancing. Our next newcomer, Ogar Edward Yegra, comes from Nigeria but loves to travel and experience new cultures from around the globe. He is very excited to share his adventures with the Steemit community as well as display his talents as an artist and songwriter. He joins our community with an incredible sense of gratitude and hope for inspiration. One very impressive characteristic of this newbie is his motivation to excel. We can all do our part to help this young man get off to a good start by showing our support. Let us come together and give him a warm welcome to Steemit.

Amanda Pickering, our third featured newbie, lives with her soul mate and their adorable Golden Retriever named Clover. They both work from home and enjoy a little silliness now and then like any happy family. But life for Amanda wasn’t always as fulfilling. She battled several debilitating health problems before even reaching 21 years of age including six or more panic attacks everyday. She described the experience "like trying to climb out of a hole with slippery paint on all the sides". Sadly, even her doctors gave up on her, forcing her to take charge of her own health and overcome incredible obstacles on her own. The rest of her post chronicles her amazing transformation and reveals more of her amazing personality. Let us welcome this determined young woman to our community and sincerely thank her for sharing her truly inspiring story.
