Hello beautiful people!
I am glad and honored of being here in this community.
Summer is the perfect season to become creative and do all that things that you have been a whole year waiting for. It's calid days invite people to walk, drink beer or a cold lemonade,do outside activities or realize how incredible and colorful nature is.
Summer has not ended yet and Cuban people know it. The high temperatures and the blue sunny sky are the perfect conditions to spend a day in family, and it is more special if you do that in the beach, near the sea, into the sea...
A couple of days ago, we planned this activity because we were anxious about going to the beach. My little cousin and my little sister were the most interested in the plan. Me too of course (I will not deny). I am a beach lover! We all showed excitement and emotion when we finally approve the summer plan.
I feel a real connection with the sea, but I am a little afraid of it.
I do not know how to swim, I never learned, but appart of it, I really enjoy going to the beach and much more if the company is the adequate people to have fun and have a blast.
The whole family is here in Havana and today was the last day of we all together. Tomorrow my cousins have to go back home.
When we woke up today, the climate seemed like if it would rain, but it was only morning vibes. Rapidly, the sky was blue again and the Sun shining as it is used to do, so we got dressed with our bikinies, shorts, sandals, and bags and went to the nearest social club to the beach.
We were one of the first families that arrived there, so we had one of the best places to stay and appreciate the landscape beauty. Every year, we go to the beach once or twice, rarely thrice, that is why we celebrate and share love, food and photos.
We spent a lot of time into the water and my father tried to teach me (again) how to swim. I am older now and I have more discipline and awareness of the importance of knowing that, so I did my best and I did it better than in previous years.
My little sister and I went along the dock looking for appropriate locations to take some photos and here is the result:
That is almost a tradition we have when we are in the beach.
We danced and sing the songs that the DJ played too. Classic songs in English and Cuban urban music. More or less when it was lunch time we went back home because of the temperature and to protect our skins of the dangerous ultraviolet rays.
It was amazing to see the kid laughing and being happy with the whole family. We really had a great experience.
Tomorrow they will travel to Pinar del Río to end this vacational period and be ready to start the next and closer scholar year. We deserved this happy ending. My mom, my auntie and my little sister are going to stay a few more days here before going back home too.
This is my first post in this community and I hope that you have enjoyed this journey just like me.
