Hi friends of this healthy and beautiful community. It is my first time posting here and I come with an important and special walk for me. Despite this is not my first time walking in Havana, this is the first time that I do that on my own. Time has flown and I grew up and now I am able to enjoy my own company here too.

When I am here, I always go for a walk with my mother, or my father, or both, or the whole family, but never alone. The most close that I have been of walking alone was two years ago that I had to assist to an event, but with a friend. I am truly happy about today. I demonstrated my responsibility and my maturity.

I started the day at the bus stop. I was there for almost an hour waiting. My destination was Old Havana and my main purpose was to meet my friend and photography professor Abel because he is imparting a course of basic photography and he invited me to tell to his new students about my experience working with him.

I did not know the exact location of the meeting place, so I started to walk looking for it and asking about the direction. After going around for almost three times, I finally found Uranga's Colecciones; the restaurant where the course is being held. A man told me that the lesson will begin at 2pm and it was quarter past twelve. After thinking it for a couple of seconds, I decided to go to the famous wood street. I took a five minutes break and then I walked looking for the Havana's Cathedral.

I was there until one o'clock when I returned for Obispo street appreciating the beauty, the landscape, the citizens, the street musicians, vendors and the tourists.

I had lunch and went back to Uranga's Colecciones and met Abel, his wife and his students. I gave my short speech and took some photos and went back home boarding the Malecón from Old Havana to Vedado.

If you have ever been in Havana or you are Cuban, surely you know how long is that distance.

I was not tired yet, so I went to Arte en la Rampa an event that is held every year by these summer days. I walked around the different stands seeing the selling things, bought two new silver rings, a Piña Colada and thought that it was time to go back home.

I kept walking from that place to the Colón cemetery and luckily the bus that I need to go home was passing there.

Today's walk was a long walk. Now I have eaten, I have took a cold shower and I am chilling and listening to my favorite songs in a speake until I get sleepy and be the time to go to bed.

Tomorrow I will have a similar walking day. I will walk until the end of the 5th Avenue. I will share it next Wednesday.

Thanks for reading this one With love: Vicky ❤️
