Since the beginning of history, the world has been ruled for black and white. Good and bad. Positive and Negative. And since the beginning of history, human eyes have been attracted by this, specially photographers.
We are always doing good or bad actions (it depends on people's life perspective) and putting things into patterns to get an order and according to forms looking for beauty.
There are also shadows and lights. They together become in different forms and patterns that are special for photography in black and white.
I was lucky for finding this during my last walk through Old Havana, near the sea and near home.
The stairs have a different perspective when you see them from above. They seem like if there is an endpoint (and actually they have one, but not like this).
I was returning to my home bordering the "Malecón" walking slowly and enjoying the sea vibes. I saw so much people doing the same and some of them were screaming for a black and white photo (not literally).
Black and white photos are dramatic and strong. They are good at transmitting feelings, emotions and messages, but; what is the message hiden behind these pics?
As I said in the begging, since the beginning black and white have been there ruling the world and putting in a balance energies.
And about churchs...
The church is full of peace and silence. You may pray confident because God will hear you clearly while being there.
Architecture design is amazing and majestic. It looks like touching the sky and kissing the clouds. Time do not fly there. You can strongly feel second by second and you may be still appreciating how much beauty there are there.
These are the Cathedral and the one located at 5th and 84th streets Jesús de Miramar. As a fun fact, both have similar structures, the first one and the second biggest churches in Havana.
Do you know Ying and Yang? I mean something like that.
And what about patterns and forms? They exist to bring beauty and shape to things.
Shadows and light? They exist to bring mysticism and magic to places (to become them special)
I hope that you have liked this.
