**Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog!**
Yesterday I had one of that wonderful days with my dad. Although I have been coming to Havana my whole life, there are a lot of places that I have never been yet, and Cotorro municipality is one of that places.
> We had to go there because a friend of my dad gifted to him a new phone and we had to go for it to the seller's house.
After a beautiful night in a concert, we woke up early today because transportation is getting worse each day, but we had luck and the bus came fast.
This one was not my father's first time going there. He was excited about the trip! We were enjoying the views and talking about many things, places that now are closed or in bad state but years ago they used to be amazing places to spend time with family and friends eating italian food and drinking beer.
When we were in the Cotorro's entrance he told me that he used to live there and so many memories came to his mind. His eyes were vivid and had a happy face. I was enjoying the ride too and appreciating the landscape and people going here and there, some looking for food, some going to work and some just spending time with friends, reading the newspaper or sitting in the parks.
We did not know the exact location of where we were going, so we had to ask to many people for the right way to go.
Going for one of that directions, we found a small cafeteria with a nice old man. We asked him too about the direction and of course, he kindly explained us the way. I love this kind of experiences when you are a foreign and you have to ask all the time for directions. I feel that people treat you better.
We looked at the watch and realized that it was lunch time so we asked to the old man for some bread and guava sweet and for two mammee shakes. We were surprised when we saw the low prices and the quality food had. So we asked for two more shakes.
> The man told us that he has been working there for almost fourteen years. That people told him that he will not stay there for too long, but nowadays he loves what he does and enjoying serving people. He is not worried about money, but in helping people.
After that short conversation he gifted us one more glass of mammee shake.
> We thanked him and then continued our way.
After so many **"walk along, turn right, turn left, go back, turn right again..."** we finally was in the place. We checked all the phones that the seller had and after talking about guarantee, phone properties and quality we decided for a *Xiaomi Redmi A5*. I already know the mark because one of this is my phone.
After some thankful words, we went back to the bus stop, but by another way and we found some beautiful wall paintings and took photos on it.
Luckily the bus came fast and we return back home to end the phone's configuration on my own *(I am not bad at that things)*.
*Cotorro is such a countryside town*. There was lots of vegetation and frutal trees in the yards. Guavas, bananas, mangos, amd mammee trees. I really loved this walk because felt special. That place may have some magic. *People say always hi*, even if you are a totally unknown people and there are few houses made of wood. Some others that are mansions, and all of them had plants in the gardens and in the yards.
When we were near home, I saw another wall painting and asked my father for a photo.
**Thanks for reading. I hope to see you in a future post.**
