I’ll keep this one short(-ish). HiveFest starts soon. I’m in Kuala Lumpur and, in a few blinks, we’ll already be boarding planes home. If you’re around: come say Hi(ve). It’s our yearly “Oh wow, you’re weirder than your avatar” moment.

HiveFest isn’t just talks and slides; it’s a reunion. People who haven’t met in a year or three (or ever) sit down, tell stories, sometimes hug, and somehow the chain feels more alive after. For devs and witnesses, it’s also a chance to sync and get on the same page.
Bring questions, ideas, solutions, stories. Or don’t. Bring yourself.
Tips & Tricks
If you’re new / shy / “I don’t know what to say”
Say: “Hi(ve), I’m [someone]. I post about [stuff].”
If you don’t recall someone’s nickname
“Hey you!” works fine.
Bad with faces?
We should all be wearing tags. It's totally OK to kindly ask: “Reveal yourself!”
How to find me
Trail & error: if I’m busy, give it a minute and try again. Or try anyway.
Chain Culture
If you happen to meet me at the event and you don’t have a Hive account yet, just let me know. I’ll guide you through a secure setup and create one for you.
I’ll post a follow up once I’m back and synced with reality (and sleep). Expect a few notes, some photos, and probably a witness update, there’s a release coming.
See you out there. Or not. But hopefully, yes. :-)
