Ola Hive Community! 👋🏼🥂💗 My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in the Queen city of the South 🌞🌊🍃 I’m turning 24 this year which makes me feel old ‘cause I still have a mind of a 15 year old LOL But not really tho, sometimes I like time to just freeze for me to stop, to think and to enjoy the view. Speaking of views, I love traveling - may it be by land or sea. It gives a therapeutic effect on me that I simply enjoy so much. I usually travel with my friends and family. We love going to the beach because our ancestors grew up living near it (but I still can’t swim well LOL) 💧🍋⛱  _{*These gorgeous gals are my cousins and this place is called Kalanggaman Island, Leyte*} I’ve been to a few places only and a random fact I haven’t been to Manila even though I have relatives there so I’m really excited for what’s in store for me in the coming days, months & years! Although I’ve tried going to Bangkok (which I’m planning to blog about 😉) I simply want to have a collection of pictures, souvenirs, clothes or anything really that reminds me of the places or events I’ve been to. Passport stamps are the ushe but one crazy fact about me is that I’m a hoarder 😆 most especially for pictures and videos! I’m kinda scared that I might need them in the future. lol that’s the hard part of cleaning your camera roll in your phone. As cliché as this sounds, a picture’s worth a thousand words. By looking at one, it’s easier for me to remember most likely everything that happened on that day. I’m also trying out film photography. Recently I discovered my grandfather’s old camera bag that contains 2 film cams, Nikon F3 and Nikkormat. Growing up I remembered him just having one cam and that’s what he always uses. I’m planning to blog about this too!  _{*This photo’s taken in Bangkok (I honestly forgot the name of the place but I’ll tell you soon) it was pretty cool how in the city they travel by boat (way cheaper than traveling on wheels)*} My favorite colors are green and pink in light shades. Green has a cool and calming vibe and pink is just plain cute and girly hehe it be my two moods as well. My comfort pasta dish is lasagna but in general I REALLY LOVE PASTA. I tried making one tray of lasagna and it did not disappoint hehe. I just found the recipe on Facebook but I also want to take cooking classes. I currently live with my grandmother and she cooks for us so you’re probably thinking why can’t I just ask her to teach me right? Haha I still want to explore the food industry by taking classes. My grandmother also cooks healthy food so she insists on cooking for the family. She’s turning 80 this year and I love her so much she’s literally my second mom 🤍🌼 I was born and raised here in Cebu city. For those of you who haven't been here, the list can actually go on for tourists spots, restaurants, beaches, mountain cafes, we got it all for you! Haha. For sure on my next blogs I’ll be talking about the places here ☺️ I love going out with friends - I almost do it every weekend (you can never find me at home lol) but on a serious note I do have a job 😆 I’m a Sr. Representative, Talent Acquisition in one of the largest BPO companies in the Philippines. I make it a point to always have work-life balance and I personally believe this is essential to every employed individual.  _{*Amaretto Sour! A new found love hehe*} I love to play football. I’ve been playing this sport since I was in the 6th grade. This is also one of the best breathers. I find comfort in the game and with my teammates. Most of my friends play this sport as well so it’s really fun when we play. Way back in high school this is all that I focused on. Tournaments, tune up games, regionals - I’m very lucky to experience all these before I started working. I could also talk about these experiences in my next blogs ⚽️🏃🏽‍♀️❤️‍🔥  _{*My position’s usually right wing but I can also play left. The sport I’m playing here is called futsal which is indoor soccer*} Last but not the least, I have 4 cute furry babies! Pure breed of Shih tzu and Toy Poodle and they’re names are Rocky, Cori, Rosie and Cali 🐶✨  _{*This is Rocky! I named her that because initially her hair color was shades of brown 🤎*} This is pretty much the summary of my whole life. As you can see, I’m really talkative and out-going. I discovered the Hive Community through my workmate @island.girl and @intoy.bugoy who invited me to the orientation. I figured this is a nice place to be since this is a platform for sharing your own experience of various topics which really interests me. The old saying goes “Experience is the best teacher” which I truly believe in. With this community I know I’ll be having fun blogging and learning from the experience of others. 🦋🍃🌏🌴🌺
