Today I sat for a moment on the side of the road, gazing at the curved asphalt that seemed to invite everyone to keep moving forward. This road wasn't particularly busy, but enough to give the feeling that life was still going on. On one side, large trees stood firmly, providing shade and a calming green atmosphere. On the other side, rows of small stalls, repair shops, and parked motorcycles signaled the never-ending human activity.
The overcast sky added to the drama. Thick clouds seemed to hang low, signaling that rain might soon fall. There was something unique about seeing a sky like this, a mixture of calm and tension, as if we were given a moment to reflect before the torrential downpour drenched the earth.
I imagined how many stories had passed along this road. Large trucks stopping to rest, motorcyclists rushing to town, perhaps even people walking with various goals in life. The road never rejected anyone; everyone was welcomed, everyone was allowed to pass, and then disappeared around the bend.
Simple places like this often made me feel closer to life itself. There's no need for tall buildings or glittering city lights, just a winding road, a gray sky, and the silence occasionally broken by the roar of an engine. That's where I can feel that life indeed moves on, slowly but surely, taking us to destinations we may not yet know.
