This morning, I discovered a unique sight in the corner of my yard, right on top of some decaying wood. A small, jet-black mushroom stood upright, its cap perfectly circular, like a shiny black ring. Its texture was so smooth, it reflected a thin layer of light, making it appear as if it were made of black glass.

These mushrooms grew among the remains of a log that was beginning to grow green moss, creating a beautiful color contrast. Despite their tiny size, their details were captivating upon closer inspection. Nature always has a way of bringing beauty to unexpected places.

I captured this photo with my smartphone camera and edited it in Photoshop Express, focusing on the details of the mushroom, so that its texture and shine were clearly visible. It was truly a small moment that proves that beauty can be found even in the simple things of life.
