I captured these photos using my smartphone camera, relying on natural morning light. The subject I photographed was a small fern growing attached to a tree trunk. The texture of the trunk, covered in moss and natural spots, provides a beautiful contrast with the fresh green of the fern's leaves.
I tried to adjust the focus so that the details of the leaf veins were clear and sharp, while the background remained soft with a natural bokeh effect. After that, I did some light editing using Photoshop Express to balance the lighting, bring out the green color to make it more vibrant, and add a bit of contrast for a more natural feel.
I think simple beauty like this is often overlooked. Yet, every small detail in nature has its own charm if we pay closer attention. This kind of macro photography also taught me that beauty doesn't always have to be grand, but can also come from the small things hidden around us.
