Have you noticed the battlefield background change in the Splinterlands? I love the animation added in the background of the battle page, this does not have may direct effect on game play or rewards but it is cool update. I am playing mostly on app and I just love it. I really appreciate the work done by the developers.
The Splinterlands is different from other web3 games, it's not just click and claim game, player need to make the strategy using the different cards they have available in their collection. The game rules play a crucial role in selection of cards in respective battle. The fund and thrill begins with the setup of lining up the cards and this all mostly depends on the total mana allowed, the rule. Player need to choose the cards carefully to fulfill both the requirements, as total mana and the rulesets and when our strategy worked well and we win this give the relief and enjoyment both. I am playing other games also on Hive but no one can beat the Splinterlands in terms of enjoyment and fun. Many other games on Hive developed and gone but the Splinterlands stand still form 2018 till now even after gone through crypto crashes also. For me it's very clear play the game, collect the cards as many as I can. The present price of the cards do not matter to me much as I have seen how a lower price card become valuable over the time. No one know the future so we do not know the asset value of game. The game popularity is increasing day by day. The mobile app also helps a lot in my opinion along with the new Frontier game mode which is good entry point for new players.
Game progress
In the current season also I am playing in Wild as well as along with Frontier game mode. To be honest I am feeling that the Frontier mode is getting harder and harder may be because more players are playing regularly and they are also getting experience of the game. The experience players in the game make it more fun game and harder also. My involvement in the frontier mode has increased as some time I am plying more then 10 games for winning the 5 battles.
I am battling in the Gold I League at present and only 300 rating points are required to unlock the next league i.e. Diamond I league. In Frontier mode I am battling in Silver II league (required 60 more rank points to unlock the Silver I league) and 5 Wins Daily Rewards me with 2 Frontier Entries.
Last season was average and I earned more then 75k Glint tokens as rewards form ranked play only and this season also will earn more then 75k token for sure. Today I spend 375,000 Glint token to purchase the 150 Major Chests, this time I was luck enough to get two legendry and some Gold foil card form the pull, you can check the below screenshots. I do not get the time to review the collection so not able to upgrade the cards form previous reward card series.
Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest. I love the major chest as this give me the good chance to pull the legendary and gold foil cards.
From 150 chests, I received 134 cards, 125 potions, 45 energy and 9623 merits. The cards pulled were less then in terms of the number if compare with the previous draw purchase and opening. The change in the draws and chest reward mechanism may be the reason for same.
