Q. Why am I going to reduce my HIVE activities? A. Because of unjust downvotes that took away the rewards from my long posts!

Unjust Downvotes case

On the 31st of August, out of the blue, all the pending rewards from my post were zeroed by the letusbuyhive account. No prior warning, no explanation! I made an Ecency wave tagging him for the explanation. I received no explanations for the downvotes! I asked around in Discord servers. I came to know that the account is run by azircon! I didn't reach out to him for the explanations. I kept posting. Surprisingly, I even got at least two 25% VP upvotes on my posts from the letusbuyhive. I thought that the previous DVs were a one-time thing! I was wrong!

On Friday, September 05, the next DV storm swept my posts and zeroed all the pending rewards! This time, azircon himself!

I made a comment under his last post, asking him to give me the reasons! He replied!

Reason 01:

your posts are either template posts, or spam that offers no value.

Yes. I use a template for my post. But, that's not the only part in my posts. I make at least 2-3 paragraphs, along with photographs, and those are different every day. On my last post, I have 5 paragraphs that are completely new!!

Reason 02:

You have no engagement at your posts and you don’t engage with others

There is no truth to this allegation. At the time of writing this post, I was at number 26 on the Ecency leaderboard! Last Monday when Melinda published the weekly leaderboard post, I was at number 18! There are no comments under my posts, waves, or snaps that are unanswered! On Friday evening, when I saw the DVs, I was even tipping Ecency points to those who interacted with my content!

You are also muted in numerous communities

That's also not correct! I didn't find a single community where I am muted!

His Final Verdict

From my point of view your posts do not require rewards so I removed them.

While over a hundred curators (Ecency curators, DUO project curators, EDS project curators, Alive and Thriving Tribe curators, etc) had different points of view!

I replied to him refuting his reasons-

From my point of view, it is nothing but arrogance, and abuse of power!

From August 25, all of my daily posts' rewards (99.99%) have been taken away! Hence, I think, it's quite logical to stop posting for the time being. I am not going to take an impulsive decision by powering down and taking all the assets off the chain. I will be around, somewhat, maybe with Ecency waves and Peakd snap, with occasional long posts!

I am disheartened! I am a bit down now! Other than these, all good :)
