Getting A Second Me?

This contest takes me back to those days when my mum was going to send me on an errand and the thing I was going to think of was having a clone who could do all my house chores but didn’t get any. But now, do I ever want a clone? No! I’m just me and I don’t want anyone to be a seconder.

Truly, I love twins. I’d have loved to have a twin but as long as I’m not, I’d never want a clone. There is no doubt that a clone may sometimes make life easier for me.

Let’s imagine that I’ve got two different jobs. I can easily take one and use my clone to do the other job while I earn in two ways. Isn’t that easy?

My clone could literally help me go into the bank, withdraw some money and help me escape having to stand for so long on the queue just like every other human without a clone. Or when it comes to registering some government ID cards, using my clone in such situation will be better.

But, will I ever get a clone? No! I have my reasons for this. Firstly, I would love to live like a normal human, go through some challenges that we face as humans. Sometimes, challenges may be interesting, so why not? I’d love to experience them.

Also, what if my clone puts me into trouble? What if I land into trouble because of something evil my clone might have done? Imagine my clone withdrawing a huge amount of money from my bank account without my knowledge? Or my clone standing as a guarantor for a loan without my knowledge? I think this is one thing which won’t make me get a clone.

Lastly, I’m enough for myself. I’ve been on earth for five decades without a clone and I can do forever without a clone as well.

Cloned may be good as they have their advantages but for me, I’d love to live my life all alone.
