Some friends are for life but no matter how close or good they are, they are never like God. God is the only one who never leaves us at the middle of the road and that’s why friends come and go but God is everlasting.
When is the right time to start serving God? It is the time when we are still very young and that’s because we will get used to the ways of the Lord and we will not be new to things of such or Christianity in general. It is usually said that the earlier, the better.
The Bible tells us in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:1 that; “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them”

What does this teach us? It teaches us that God is always there for us. Yes, we may have friends who have been with us for long but we have to stick to God.
No matter how good some people are to us, we never can rely fully on them because they are not God. Talking about peer pressure, staying clear away from it is quite easy. As long as you recognize God as your only savior and everlasting helper, you will definitely overcome peer pressure.
Your competition should be no man and you shouldn’t try to please any man but once you follow the steps of the Lord, you are good to go and you will definitely overcome peer pressure.
