I believe that in life, there is always an extra and one thing may never be sufficient. A lot of us want or wish to get closer to God but we don’t know how to go about it. Then, after going back and forth about the whole thing, we then decide to pray thinking and hoping that it is enough to make us get close to God but that’s a wrong thought.
The best way to get close to God is by doing all the things that God has commanded humans to do. If we don’t want to go too deep about it, we should learn about the lifestyle of Jesus Christ. We should place a watch on how he lived his life. If we live our lives the exact way Jesus Christ lived his life, we have won the heart of God and we will definitely get close to him.

Pray, then act. That’s the way to get close to God. After praying to God that you want to get to know Him more, act towards knowing Him more.
Act and ask about the do’s and don’ts. You will get there. I know I’m not very close to God too but I’m trying and God is making it easy for me. He can as well make it easy for you too.
