What other thing do you have in mind when you pray? That may be the reason why you are not receiving what you want or might have requested from God.
For some people, when they pray, they are not sure. In their minds, they are having doubts if God will do it or not. When seeing this topic, the proper way to pray, I think so many people may be talking about kneeling down, putting their hands together and asking from God what they want but that’s not even the big deal or the best part of it.
Philippians 4:6 tells us that; “Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

That’s just it and nothing more. If you trust God to give you what you want, all things will fall in place. Man proposes and God disposes. It may not come the exact way you want it to or as you have planned but it will.
I think we humans make one particular mistake. When we want God to do something, we always want it to happen now or at that moment when we have prayed. But, God may even have greater plans for us but wouldn’t happen now.
So when we pray, we should not give God any sort of timeframe or wanting Him to answer us now. We should only hope that He will give us what we want and He will surely do it. Our God is kind and He will continue to be kind to us.
