Greetings to everyone in the Vibes community in its 35th week. It is a pleasure for me to participate this week, especially with a topic that I really enjoy: electronic music.
Electronic music such as EDM, Euro Dance, trance, and other more underground genres such as EBM, dark wave, and synthpop have been part of my life, both personally and musically.
Artists such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Gigi D'Agostino, Robert Miles, among others, have been my favorites within this diverse genre. They have become an inspiration for me to try my mind at composing songs in this style.
Before dedicating myself to my musical project Münchhausen (post-punk, indie), I had another called A Lost Passenger (trance, dance) in which I made electronic music, but in the end, I never made this project commercial.
One of the songs I made is today's song: Oxygen. It is inspired by the 90s trance scene, artists such as Tiësto and van Buuren, and a touch of that uplifting atmosphere with piano melodies that carry you away to other places. This song is not on the same level as these DJs, but I think it captures the atmosphere I am looking for in this style.
I did a bit of production on the track, and some instruments were also played live along with the backing track I had already made. I hope you enjoy it and let yourself be carried away by this trance. See you soon.
