After the service on Sunday, my family and I paid a visit to an elderly woman who had been unwell. We sat with her, offered words of comfort, and helped with a few household chores. When she smiled and thanked us, it warmed my heart. With that sense of peace and fulfillment, we set off for home.
Along the way, something beautiful caught my eye—a small flowering plant bursting with bright pink blooms. Its simple beauty made me pause. I quickly took a picture, and we found ourselves laughing and admiring it together. It felt like one of those little gifts God places in your path just to brighten your day.
My son especially likes this flower tree, I captured this earlier before arriving at the elderly woman's house.
We soon reached the bus junction, expecting a ride home. But the street was unusually quiet—no buses, no sound of traffic, just silence stretching down the road.
Rather than wait endlessly, we decided to walk. What could have been an inconvenience turned into one of the best parts of the evening. We talked, joked, and enjoyed each other's company as we strolled home.
