Hello my name is Harhess,a shoecobbler in the community who loves to share his creative post here for People to benefit,it's been long posting on the community and have finally come back stronger with the making of simple and classic designs of footwear which I will like to show the community how I craft it with steps THE MAKING AMD MATERIALS USED Black skin Thick linen Buckle Sole STEPS START with the making of the upper design which we will use a paper to cut and then place on the black skin to trace out with a pen and cut out with your scissors,apply gum on the upper end the thick linen to gum together,now we move to the sewing machine and make the upper ready for lasting.
As known,palm making consist of three steps Upper Insole Sole We are using a ready made insole and sole so we won't have to stress ourselves in making of insoles and sole As we have explained the making of the upper,We will just last and do the final Gumming of the palm slippers NEXT STEP
Apply gum on the upper and the ready made insoles and use your wooden last to set to client size .Now apply gum on all the lasted palm and the sole then gum together to make up the palm. You can preview the final touch and finishing of the palm below
