Many people have abandoned and forsaken God in most of our ways. Most people face challenges in life because it is a way of God telling you that this world is unliveable without him so when you gather up He blows away because you haven't gathered these things in Him. Let us understand this things life cannot be enjoyed without Got. God himself in Haggai.1:9 said that when we gather, He blows it away because we have decided to work on our house and leave His house in ruin.
I want you to understand something verse 5 of that scripture says "give careful thought to your ways." Have you sat down and asked yourself why are things going all wrong with me?? This is a very important question for self examination. After realizing that things are not going well you have to go back to God. When God seeaas His children backsliding He places a burden you cannot ignore on you not to punish you, but to drag you back to your place of intimacy. Most people are suffering now because they have left their place of intimacy with God and have gone into the world, and yet there are still drowning in ignorance. Listen unless you realise your original position and return to your secret place, you will still be struggling.
Verse7 says that we should go to the mountain and being back timber and build His house. The journey to the mountain is not an easy one. There are some problem that cannot pass you by unless you visit your mountain. When was the last time you visited yours? Don't be deceived, most problem don't go by one prayer partially because the forces holding the problem are very strong but mainly because God is trying to develop your consistency in the place of prayer. It is written " when you go to the mountain, you bring back timber to build the house of God. Timber there represent something raw meaning when you visit the mountain you get something raw and you keep working on it until it furnishes you. If you haven't realise yet, you are God's house and it is written that we should build his house that he may take pleasure in it and be honoured. Until you are ready to honour God until your lifestyle screams honour to God there are some certain challenges you can't just dodge, God is waiting for that person that can deny himself to work on His house, someone that is ready to loose the material for the spiritual, people that will dwny the flesh to satisfy the spirit thereby building God's house and honouring him
