Hello everyone
Starting school as a fresher isn't always easy. One has to deal with the stress of locating places on his own, the heat generated due to overpopulation of year one students in a hall as well as getting to know your course mate. Back in secondary school I was more of a reserved kind of guy and didn't like bothering people with my problem but that changed as I got into the university. Inorder for me not to be left behind I had to activate the other version of me. I asked questions, paid attention to my environment and made use of my sixth sense.
We were already into the third week of resumption when I met one of this guy's. We both were standing outside the ELF hall with other 100level students waiting for the 200 level student to finish their lectures so we could rush inside. He approached me asking if I was in his department too and I replied yes to him. Just like that we began talking. Meanwhile, we got another information regarding the class being moved to another location . The torture 😅😅.. After that day we didn't exchange contact . We met again during one of our practicals and I had totally forgotten about him but after we talked a bit I remembered him and that was when we exchanged contact.
The permsite campus where I had most of my lectures was quite far from where I stayed and it was a lot difficult to meet up with most of my 8.0'clock lectures but that very day I was determined to sit in front and not stand behind so I got up very early and was able to make it even before the lecture commenced. With no sign of the lecturer coming in soon I got my phone and started scrolling through facebook. Then I remembered that I haven't always been meeting up with the previous 8am lectures and decided to get note from one of my course mate in front who happened to be a friend to one of my classmate. From our little discussion we came to realise that both of us came from neighbouring schools and that we shared mutual friends. About two of my mate who graduated from my school came from his school
My journey so far In school has been much more fun because of this guys. Their calls, support, advice and jokes is a proof of how lucky I am. Going to my 300level and the friendship has never been stronger. With each of us always looking out for each other what more could I ask of from a friend.
