Hey friends! It's @tegoshei here. I'm back to using this alt account, especially for my Draw a Day posts. I recently got a tablet to practice digital art, so this is quite an investment. I'll be using part of my earnings to pay for it, but more than that, I'm able to explore this craft, aside from doing things traditionally.
In this post, I'm going to participate in @quatro's Sketch Quest which is to sketch something from our surroundings and this is what I came up with.
This shows the juxtaposition of nature and the modern world. This is a drawing of the biggest shopping mall in my area, specifically from its sky garden.
I love nature, but at the same time, I'm also quite interested in modern architecture. What more, I love painting the sky, so I also did this digital art in such an angle.
Whenever we gio to that mall, I always go to the Sky Garden because it's pretty... and you can actually have a nice sunset view at times.
Anyway, let me share screenshots of the process, or layers in making this artwork. I'm still a beginner in digital art, but it's been fun so far.
It was fun creating this drawing... It's actually been a while since I went to that place. It's not that far from my house, but my being a homebody is stopping me from stepping outside. I'm not really a fan of crowded places... well, this garden isn't that crowded compared to the inside of the mall. hahaha Maybe someday... when I actually have a purpose of going there aside from just chilling. XD
