Today I am going to show you the flowers I planted myself from seeds, while I was in the city, I don't really have the space to plant or do any gardening activities, aside from the fact that I don't have enough time, soil is really different in there, now that we have a yard and the soil is very fertile (healthy) I finally tried Gardening, I started by buying seedlings, you can get it from your local hardware, mine I got from Ace Hardware, the brands are Yates and Ramgo,

I forgot to take pictures of the packets but I got some pictures from their websites and Face book pages

Gardening taught me a lot of things, and the most important of all is patience, it is something that my parents cannot even teach me, Lol. In the city everything is fast, so many things to do and only little time, people are always rushing, like 24 hours is not even enough, in the countryside, It is just like living in another world, very slow, people are very calm, in fact, when there is an outage they will just take it as a wrap up, maybe it is too windy, so time to end the day, and let's continue whatever is unfinished the next day, in the city, people would find it infuriating, what? "no AC, internet and TV? Grrr"

honestly, that's the normal life before civilization, living like you are part of the nature, standing your ground until the storm passes, because yes, no matter how strong and disastrous they are, they will just pass by, going back to gardening, it taught me to be patient as beautiful things bloom in the right time, I have planted, carnations, roses, sunflowers, daisy and more, and my mom planted fruits and vegetables,

my favorite is Carnation, the smell is heavenly, sadly Carnations aren't native in the Philippines, so the seeds I bought aren't perennial, meaning, once it bloom, the plant will wilt and die and if you want to see the flowers, you have to plant them again, (you have to keep on planting it) however, you can only plant it when the weather is cool, somewhere around November, and you have to wait for 60- 90 days for them to bloom, it depends on how good the soil is.

look at these beauties,

***and lastly, the very common "Bougainvilleas" ***

you don't really have to care for them, they grow on their own, and they love sunshine very much, so it is a common plant in our country, it actually looks like cherry blossoms minus the smell, because it doesn't have a scent
