As rock climbers, we have a deep connection with nature ans especially mountains. While most people find them scary and fear the animals that inhabit them, we see them as a refuge -- an escape from modern life's unnaturale routine.
Last weekend I had the chance to live a new level of connexion with nature. Thanks to an event organized by my friends Maha and Radhouen.
Maha is a trainer and a counsellar of permaculture and regenerative agriculture. She's been doing an amazing job advocating for the abandonment of modern agriculture techniques of massproduction and making a balanced ecosystem that benefits the land and keeps it healthy.
She mad a presentation about Permaculture and how best to do it in Tunisia then she projected the movie "Common ground" whiwh she got from the producers with their permission to project it.
A lot to say about this topic so I'll move on haha. Hopefully one day I get an interview with Maha.
The second part of the event was rock climbing in Resas mountain with the assistance of Radhouen. Some of the people who went with us are old friends of mine and of the mountain, but most of them are trying it for the first time. Needless to say weall had much fun and went home full of energy, although exhausted haha
I forgot to mention that the whole program was planned by Maha and Radhouen when they met in my wedding last month 😁
