Hello community friends, I hope this is being a wonderful week for you all. I've been listening to music from different eras lately, for no specific reason, and one of the songs I've heard is "**The Great Pretender**," a song by the american group "**The Platters**" from the 1950s. I think we've all faked something at some point, whether it's a mood or a reaction, to pretend something we're not feeling at the time, whether as a tool for personal protection, to avoid worrying a loved one, or simply to give a false impression of what we're really feeling. This song is a bit about that. I really like its style and wanted to try it out this week the 40th. He estado últimamente escuchando música de diferentes épocas indistintamente sin alguna razón específica y dentro de las canciones que he escuchado está " **The Great Pretender**" uno de los ecitod del grupo estadounidense "**The Platters**" en la decada de los 50. Creo que, de alguna manera, todos hemos fingido alguna vez, ya sea un estado de ánimo o una reacción, para aparentar algo que en ese momento no sentimos, ya sea como una herramienta de protección personal, para no preocupar a un ser querido o sencillamente para dar una falsa impresión de lo que realmente sentimos. Esta canción trata un poco de eso. Me gusta mucho si estilo y quise atreverme a interpretarla en esta semana 40. Espero que sea de su agrado
