Acabo de terminar de ver la película de “La Casa de los Abuelos” en Netflix, una producción tailandesa de terror en donde un par de hermanos terminan viviendo en la casa de sus abuelos debido a que su madre sufre un accidente automovilístico.

Lo interesante de la película es la premisa de vivir en casa de unos desconocidos que se dicen ser tus familiares, pero con los que no tienes recuerdos de haber convivido, a esa situación se le suma el tener que vivir en una casa que no es la propia y en la que parece que suceden situaciones muy extrañas.

Poco a poco la película se va poniendo más misteriosa con la aparición de un agujero en la pared del comedor, agujero en el que si te asomas podrás ver la estancia de una casa en penumbras que pareciera estar deshabitada. Pero más extraño aún, es que los abuelos no pueden ver lo que hay en la pared, siendo sólo los dos hermanos quienes experimentan la extraña situación.

Pero con el paso de los días las cosas acerca de ese hueco en el muro se irán poniendo todavía más extrañas y aterradoras, con la aparición de una niña que parece herida en la habitación. La que para los hermanos sería una fantasma y, más tarde, una visión sobre una tragedia pasada.

La película está bastante entretenida, no considero que sea de terror, pero si es un buen thriller que se puede disfrutar en una tarde de películas, parece ser que Netflix está cada vez más, apostando por producciones asiáticas o quizás mi algoritmo de búsqueda es el que me está recomendando esto.
>The film is quite entertaining, I do not consider it to be horror, but if it is a good thriller that can be enjoyed in an afternoon of movies, it seems that Netflix is more and more, betting on Asian productions or perhaps my search algorithm is the who is recommending this to me.
