Five minutes Freewrite Day 2849: The Other Counter

Some people seem to disregard the rules of everything and everywhere.

Have you ever been in an express checkout lane, with a strict ten-item limit, only to see the person in front of you with a trolley overflowing with goods?

It was a pile of items that would obviously be more than fingers on one pair of hands.

I'm not the type of person who can call out others without the situation backfiring on me.

People are so skilled at turning the tables on me, pushing back and arguing as if they're completely in the right.

I'd never stand a chance against them.

So, I bit my tongue, burning with frustration, as I waited. No one said a word until the cashier told her to go to the other counter.

Most of the time I would see people trying to desist, but thankfully, this one simply sheepishly complied.
