Five minutes Freewrite Day 2853: Hierarchy of Losers

I’ve always lived my life focused on my own path, minding my own business. Recently, I’ve been confronted with an invasion of an ugly kind of ambition—one that tramples common sense and basic manners underfoot.

My world is now filled with people who confuse being loud with being right, believing that success comes from knocking everyone else down.

Nothing about them is related to merit or logic; theirs is a system built purely on aggression.

It feels as if I've been thrown into their absurdly defined hierarchy of losers. Decency is thrown out the window.

To prop up their own false superiority, they invent problems and try to shift the blame to me, the convenient scapegoat.

It's a completely manufactured power play—to elevate themselves, even though they, like the rest of us, will end up as worm food.

It’s confusing and angering to me that I have to feel cowed by these outlaws who insist on having things their own way, even when it's the wrong way.

Why is my decency a disadvantage, and why is their selfish, aggressive behavior being rewarded?
