Hoy les hablaré de Relife. Un anime de tan solo 13 capítulos y 4 OVAS que vi hace poco. La premisa llamó mi atención así que decidí verlo sin muchas expectativas.

Kaizaki Arata es un joven de 27 años que podría considerarse un fracasado porque no tiene trabajo y finge ante sus amigos tenerlo. Le es difícil conseguir un buen trabajo porque en el anterior solo duró 3 meses y eso manchó su hoja de vida.
Era mantenido por su madre que le enviaba dinero, sus días se pasaban entre bebidas alcohólicas y cigarrillos, hasta que un día se topó con Yoake. Miembro de Laboratorios Relife. Un proyecto que tiene como objetivo darle un segunda oportunidad a personas que por alguna u otra razón perdieron el rumbo de su vida.

Yoake le propuso a Kaizaki ser un sujeto Relife durante un año. En donde volvería a ser un adolescente de 17 años, asistiría a la secundaria y tendría la oportunidad de hacer las cosas mejor para cambiar su vida.

Durante ese año todos sus gastos serían cubiertos por la empresa. Al finalizar el Relife, en caso de ser exitoso, tendría ofertas laborales garantizadas. Al finalizar el año todas las personas que conoció en ese periodo de tiempo lo olvidarían.
Lo único que tenía qué hacer era tomarse una píldora azul. Sí, algo como matrix 😅

MI OPINIÓN

La verdad es que lo vi sin muchas expectativas. Sólo estaba aburrida con ganas de ver algo interesante. Así que buscando en mi página de anime favorita, me topé con Relife.
Al principio es patético y lamentable ver el día a día de Kaizaki y la forma en la que lleva su vida. Y a medida que transcurre la serie nos damos cuenta de todas limitaciones mentales que tiene, y no me refiero a que sea tonto, sino a los traumas que posee, sus miedos y allí entendemos poco a poco el motivo de su forma de ser, y sus decisiones.

Creo que Kaizaki es uno de los personajes más realistas que he visto en cualquier otro anime. Es imposible no agarrarle cariño y vernos reflejados muchas veces en él.
Es lindo ver como va progresando y creando conexiones con sus compañeros, como va superando sus miedos...
Por otro lado, aunque el anime es bastante emotivo o profundo, también tiene sus momentos divertidos. De hecho, me reí muchísimo mientras lo veía.

El opening me parece hermoso, demasiado bello y capta perfectamente la esencia de Relife. Se llama Button y es de Penguin Research. De los Endings de verdad no les diré mucho porque son varios. Un Ending distinto para cada capítulo, pero cada uno va en perfecta sintonia con la trama de cada capítulo.

CONCLUSIÓN

En general este es un anime muy realista y demasiado hermoso. Toca temas como la depresión, los celos, la apatía, el miedo, la inseguridad, entre otras cosas.
Creo que es una historia que busca transmitirnos la importancia de disfrutar nuestra vida y valorar cada instante, los lugares, las personas, los momentos que vivimos.
Les mentiría si les dijera que no lloré al ver el final, porque sí. Lloré y me dio muchísimo sentimiento.
Todos luchamos con nuestros propios demonios, hasta el que menos crees tiene problemas con los que lidiar. Seamos empaticos y tratemos de ser lo más amables posible con los demás.
Relife es un joya y para mi, un anime bastante infravalorado.
Espero que les haya gustado esta reseña y que les hayan dado ganas de ver Relife. Si ya lo vieron cuéntenme que tal les pareció y si aún no lo han visto, no sé qué esperan 😅 miren que es cortito.

Kaizaki Arata is a 27 year old young man who could be considered a failure because he doesn't have a job and pretends to his friends that he does. It is difficult for him to get a good job because in his previous one he only lasted 3 months and that tarnished his resume.

MY OPINION

I actually watched it without much expectation. I was just bored wanting to see something interesting. So searching on my favourite anime site, I stumbled upon Relife.
At the beginning it's pathetic and pitiful to see Kaizaki's day to day life and the way he leads his life. And as the series goes on we realise all the mental limitations he has, and I don't mean that he is stupid, but the traumas he has, his fears and there we understand little by little the reason for his way of being, and his decisions.

I think Kaizaki is one of the most realistic characters I've seen in any other anime. It's impossible not to get attached to him and see ourselves reflected in him many times.
It's nice to see how he's progressing and creating connections with his classmates, how he's overcoming his fears?
On the other hand, although the anime is quite emotional or deep, it also has its funny moments. In fact, I laughed a lot while watching it.

I find the opening beautiful, too beautiful and it perfectly captures the essence of Relife. It's called Button and it's from Penguin Research. I won't tell you much about the Endings because there are several of them. A different Ending for each chapter, but each one goes in perfect harmony with the plot of each chapter.

CONCLUSION

Overall this is a very realistic and beautiful anime. It touches on themes such as depression, jealousy, apathy, fear, insecurity, among other things.
I think it is a story that seeks to convey to us the importance of enjoying our lives and valuing every moment, the places, the people, the moments we live.
I would be lying if I told you that I didn't cry at the end, because I did. I cried and it made me feel so much.
We all struggle with our own demons, even the one you least believe in has problems to deal with. Let's be empathetic and try to be as kind as possible to each other.
Relife is a gem and for me, a very underrated anime.
