El novio pollero es un sabroso y jocoso merengue caraqueño.
En Youtube conseguí un maravilloso video de la película llamada "Dos Gallos en Palenque" con el humorista venezolano Julián Pacheco y el comediante mexicano "El Piporro" Eulalio González, grabada en Caracas el año 1959, donde cantan Los Criollos y Julián Pacheco éste sabroso merengue. En el año 1983 salió un disco de Cecilia Todd con temas cañoneros y ahí está incluído El novio pollero, la canción de inmediato se popularizó. Hoy se las presento a ustedes acompañada "una vez más" por mi hermano @ylich, a quien agradezco se haya tomado unos minutos para grabarles este simpático y sabroso merengue caraqueño, cañonero.

El novio pollero is a tasty and jocoso merengue from Caracas. On youtube I got a wonderful video of the movie called "Two Cocks in Palenque " with the Venezuelan humorist Julián Pacheco and the Mexican comedian "El Piporro" Eulalio González, recorded in Caracas in 1959, where Los Criollos and Julián Pacheco sing this tasty merengue. In 1983 came out an album of Cecilia Todd with cañoneros songs and there is included The chicken boyfriend, the song immediately became popular.
