It's been over a week now since my family has been parking so as to move to a new apartment. To be honest finding a place for quite difficult because what we wanted was not what we got and we could not blame anybody because everyone tend to build their house is in a way that suits them and how they would make income from their investments.
Most of the problems we encountered when trying to find a house to rent was either there was no water flowing into the apartment or they had well that was far from their apartment.
Again the issue of this time was another thing, some of these landlords do not consider that a house in town is different from a house that is far away but they tend to put the same price. Fortunately, we got an apartment that is not entirely our choice but because we have an ultimatum to live our current place we had to settle for it.
The process after getting this apartment has been tough and financially consuming because we had to first clean it up and make some repairs at an necessary before moving in. Now parking has been gone and it has been tedious and stressful because when you are packing for a family house it is quite different from when you are a single individual. The packing took about a week to put everything in place so that it will be easier for the vehicle to transport them. Just one day of transporting some of the things in the house I feel tired.
One thing I realized is that when you set your mind to carry out a particular task you would ensure that nothing hinders you because when that happens you would relax and keep procrastinating things that should be done at a particular time.
I actually can't wait for all days to be over because I would really love to rest before we start arranging things in the new apartment again. Packing of things and moving to new apartment is really not for the week because the carrying of heavy things and moving them is really stressful. We even had to use pain relievers so as to be able to keep up for the next day.
In conclusion, this has taught me a lesson that owning your own building at a certain age would save you from stress of evictions and landlord wahala.
