¡Hola, qué tal, amigos! Espero que se encuentren muy bien. En esta ocasión les traigo un nuevo blog de calistenia que sé que les gustará, pues estaré compartiendo mi experiencia en una visita muy especial al municipio de Michelena, donde tuve la oportunidad de reunirme con un gran grupo de atletas de esta localidad. El objetivo no era solamente entrenar, sino también aprender, motivarnos mutuamente y fortalecer este movimiento que cada día crece más.

Una de las cosas que más me apasiona es conocer nuevos lugares y personas, y mientras más puedo viajar y aprender de este deporte, más valiosa se vuelve cada experiencia. En esta oportunidad, aunque casi nunca visito Michelena, decidí aprovechar la ocasión para hacerlo. Durante el trayecto, pude disfrutar de las hermosas montañas de mi tierra andina, en el corazón de Venezuela. El aire fresco, la naturaleza y esa energía especial que se siente al viajar hicieron que el camino fuera tan gratificante como el destino mismo.

I'll be sharing my experience during a very special visit to the municipality of Michelena, where I had the opportunity to meet with a great group of athletes from this town. The goal wasn't just to train, but also to learn, motivate each other, and strengthen this movement that's growing every day.

One of the things I'm most passionate about is getting to know new places and people, and the more I can travel and learn about this sport, the more valuable each experience becomes. This time, although I rarely visit Michelena, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. During the trip, I was able to enjoy the beautiful mountains of my Andean homeland, in the heart of Venezuela. The fresh air, nature, and that special energy that comes with traveling made the journey as rewarding as the destination itself.

Al llegar, me llevé una grata sorpresa: esperaba encontrarme con pocas personas, pero asistieron alrededor de veinte jóvenes entusiastas y llenos de energía. Ver cómo la calistenia y el street workout están influyendo positivamente en ellos, ayudándolos a cambiar sus hábitos y su mentalidad, es algo que me inspira profundamente. Creo que tener la oportunidad de motivar a una persona a superarse no tiene precio, y ese día me dediqué por completo a compartir mis conocimientos, aprender de ellos y disfrutar al máximo.
When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised: I expected to find few people, but around twenty enthusiastic and energetic young people showed up. Seeing how calisthenics and street workout are positively influencing them, helping them change their habits and mindset, is something that inspires me deeply. I believe that having the opportunity to motivate someone to improve themselves is priceless, and that day I dedicated myself completely to sharing my knowledge, learning from them, and having the most fun.

Además del entrenamiento, aproveché para conversar con el grupo sobre el proyecto Hive. Les expliqué cómo funciona la plataforma, les mostré cómo pueden ingresar y les brindé una asesoría completa para que puedan convertirse en creadores de contenido. Mi objetivo fue incentivarlos a mostrar su talento al mundo, documentar su progreso y demostrar que la calistenia es mucho más que un deporte: es un estilo de vida que promueve salud, disciplina y superación personal.
In addition to training, I took the opportunity to talk with the group about the Hive project. I explained how the platform works, showed them how to join, and provided comprehensive advice so they could become content creators. My goal was to encourage them to showcase their talent to the world, document their progress, and demonstrate that calisthenics is much more than a sport: it's a lifestyle that promotes health, discipline, and personal growth.

La tarde estuvo llena de talento, motivación y trabajo en equipo, pues incluso algunos compañeros de mi municipio se sumaron a la actividad. Entre todos organizamos una pequeña exhibición que sirvió como cierre del entrenamiento, en la que cada participante, sin importar su nivel, se esforzó al máximo para mostrar sus habilidades. Desde los que llevan años entrenando hasta quienes apenas comienzan, todos compartieron esa energía de superación y lo dieron todo en cada una de sus rondas.
The afternoon was full of talent, motivation, and teamwork, as even some colleagues from my municipality joined in. Together, we organized a small exhibition that served as the closing ceremony for the training session. Every participant, regardless of their level, gave their all to showcase their skills. From those who have been training for years to those just starting out, everyone shared that energy of self-improvement and gave their all in each of their rounds.

Ver a la juventud reunida con esa vibra de querer ser mejores es algo que me llena de esperanza. Estoy convencido de que este tipo de encuentros son semillas que, con constancia, darán grandes frutos no solo en mi país, sino en cualquier lugar del mundo. Seeing young people gathered with that spirit of wanting to be better is something that fills me with hope.
