I was constantly self-conscious when I was growing up as a girl and concerned about the way I looked. Any girl I came into encounter with or any girl I passed during school as I walked down a hallway, I automatically compared her looks to mine and compared her beauty. At home, I would just point out stuff I wanted to change every time I looked in the mirror.
But realized that if I embrace the way I am, headstrong and beautiful, I shouldn't listen to someone else's opinions about me . Well, yeah, I know a lot of people are concerned that this won't do and it won't happen. But I'd rather go about it the way that I think it should all fall into place. Easily and comfortably, just the way it was.
I'm a girl, so one day I'll settle down with somebody who sees the good in me. Someone who knows that I am as much an entity as they are. Someone who believes that love comes not from outside your body, but from inside your soul, who understands me, cares about me, and respects me.
