Today I present to you the wall of the BTH crew, which was redone during the latest edition of the Mural Festival. Almost every year, artists get busy in June to create a new version. A few years ago, it was 123KLAN who was active in this location (see, for example, in 2021 StreetArt #444). For the past two years, it has been BTH with friends.

Aujourd'hui je vous présente le mur du BTH crew refait lors de la dernière édition du Mural Festival. Presque chaque année, les artistes s'activent au moins de juin pour une nouvelle version. Il y a quelques années c'était 123KLAN qui s'activait à cet endroit (voir par exemple en 2021 StreetArt #444). Depuis maintenant deux ans, c'est le BTH avec des amis.

I would like to take this wall without cars in front of it, but it turned out to be impossible. There are always cars in front... But I'm not giving up hope. / FR : J'aimerais prendre une fois ce mur sans voiture devant mais cela s'est averé impossible. Toujours des voitures devant... Mais je ne désespère pas 😀.

Bibi Una

The wall begins with a work by Bibi Una created during the previous version of the wall. You can check out the post StreetArt #717 for more photos and information. When I first visited, the letters BTH were still being painted, with only the pink background visible.

Le mur commence avec une oeuvre de Bibi Una faite lors de la précédente version du mur. Vous pouvez aller voir le post StreetArt #717 pour plus de photos et d'informations. Lors de mon premier passage, les lettres BTH étaient en cours de réalisation, juste le fond rose était présent.

Then, a little later in the week, Jake, a member of BTH, had finished filling out the letters. / FR : Puis un peu plus tard dans la semaine, Jake, membre du BTH avait terminé le remplissage des lettres.

Hozek

Right next to it is this big tomcat created by Hozek, a French artist who often visits Montreal, invited by the BTH collective. It's my favorite part of the wall, this peaceful cat sipping from his wine bottle. The color effects are really well done.

Juste à côté, il y a ce gros matou réalisé par Hozek, un artiste français souvent de passage à Montréal,invité par le collectif BTH. C'est ma partie préférée du mur, ce chat bien tranquille en train de siroter sa bouteille de vin. Les effets de couleurs sont vraiment très bien faits.

TER

Another collective was present, as it was last year: TER, featuring artists Airod, Qepy, and Peyo. The letters are very similar to those of BTH. There must have been a graphic charter before the wall was built 😀.

Un autre collectif était présent, comme l'année dernier, il s'agit de TER avec les artistes Airod, Qepy et Peyo. Les lettres sont très proches de celle du BTH. Il y a dû avoir un charte graphique avant le début de la réalisation du mur 😀.

Wuna

The cats separating the different letters are all truly magnificent. This one was painted by Wuna, another French artist who often visits Montreal. Her various works are always a feast for the eyes, and this graffiti cat is no exception.

Les chats qui séparent les différents lettrages sont vraiment tous magniques. Celui-ci a été peint par Wuna, artiste elle aussi française souvent de passage à Montréal. C'est toujours un régal pour les yeux ses différentes oeuvres, aucune exception avec ce chat graffeur.

Micer & Fault (BAD Crew)

I think the following lettering is the work of artists Micer and Fault from the BAD crew. Not really my style, but still quality. / FR : Je pense que le lettrage suivant est l'oeuvre des artistes Micer et Fault du BAD crew. Moins mon style mais de qualité quand même.

Sepan

The last cat in the series is the work of Sepan, who also has a lot of character. He had created a mouse with laser eyes in the previous version of this same wall.

Le dernier chat de la série est l'oeuvre de Sepan, lui aussi avec beaucoup de caractère. Il avait fait une souris au yeux laser lors de la version précédente de ce même mur.

Amon, Acek & Trak

And we finish with this pig's head by Amon surrounded by numbers by Trak and Acek. I'm not a big fan of the style, and even less so of the message. But hey, there's something for everyone in street art. ** And for you, what's your favorite part?**

Et on termine avec cette tête de cochon de Amon entouré de chiffres par Trak et Acek. Je ne suis pas trop fan du style et encore moins du message. Mais bon il y a de tout dans le StreetArt. Et vous, quelle est votre partie préférée ?**
